1.1 Our Core Privacy Commitment: At Syllabus Tracker Architecture Labs, your privacy is our foundational principle. We believe that educational and progress tracking data is deeply personal. We collect strictly the minimum information required to operate milestone check-marking, countdown schedules, study logs, and multi-device cloud backups.
1.2 Exact Information We Collect:
- Account Identifiers: Your registered name, email address, custom profile avatar, target examination year (e.g. JEE 2027), and optional coaching institute name.
- Academic Milestone Progress: Checkpoints marked across 81+ chapters (Theory notes, Handbooks, NCERT/Module questions, PYQ 2020-2026, Revision rounds 1-3), custom chapter additions, and weighting priority flags.
- Exam & Score Analytics: Mock test schedules, scores achieved, target scores, percentile calculations, and private analysis/mistake notes.
- Daily Study Timers & Goals: Pomodoro focus study minutes logged, stopwatch intervals, consistency heatmaps, and daily task checklist items.
- Transaction Records: For VIP Pro users, transaction reference IDs (e.g.
pay_xxx). We never store raw debit/credit card details, CVVs, or UPI PINs (all handled by RBI-certified gateway Cashfree).
1.3 Local-First & Encrypted Cloud Synchronization:
• Offline Local Storage (Client-Side): Real-time operations are stored instantaneously inside your device's browser localStorage and IndexedDB cache, providing immediate zero-latency tracking without needing continuous internet access.
• Google Firebase Firestore Cloud Sync (AES-256): When authenticated, your records sync securely with Google Cloud Firestore servers. Strict user security rules guarantee that only your authenticated User ID (request.auth.uid) can read or modify your private records.

1. Download Open JSON Backup: Export your entire progress, exam scores, and study logs in open JSON format with 1 click.
2. Permanent Reset / Erasure: Execute a complete deletion of all local records and associated cloud documents via the "Reset App Data" controller.

2.2 Eligible Refund Scenarios:
- 7-Day Evaluation Window: Any student dissatisfied with the feature set who submits a request within 7 calendar days of transaction date.
- Duplicate Debits: Multiple debits or accidental multiple checkouts for the same subscription period.
- Technical Activation Failure: Any payment successfully debited where VIP Pro privileges could not be activated within 48 hours of verification.
2.3 Step-by-Step Refund Process:

2.4 Payout Timelines & Settlement:

2.5 Non-Refundable Situations:

Multi-Device License Freedom: You are allowed to use your Syllabus Tracker account across multiple personal devices (Laptop, Tablet, Phone) without paying extra.
3.1 Single-User Educational License: Each account and VIP Pro Pass issued on Syllabus Tracker is designated for an individual student. The license is granted to the individual owner and is non-transferable to third-party individuals for commercial gain.
3.2 Cross-Device Synchronization:
Your data and VIP status travel with your login. You can log into your account on your primary laptop, your mobile phone, and your study tablet. All your marked checkpoints, timers, and test scores will sync automatically in real-time.
3.3 Account & License Migration (Email Changes):
If you change your academic email or lose access to your primary Google account, you may request an official transfer of your VIP subscription and syllabus records by contacting support.syllabustracker@gmail.com. Upon verifying original payment details, our admin team will safely migrate your profile to your new email address.
3.4 Prohibition of Account Sharing & Resale:
Commercial reselling, group sharing among entire coaching batches without an institutional agreement, or renting accounts is strictly prohibited.

4.1 Acceptance of Agreement: By accessing, using, or registering on Syllabus Tracker, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
4.2 Intellectual Property Ownership:
All proprietary code, algorithms, interface layouts, vector icons, SVG graphics, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Laxman Choudhary and Syllabus Tracker Architecture Labs. All rights reserved under the Copyright Act of India.
4.3 Permitted and Prohibited Conduct:
• Permitted: You are granted a personal, non-commercial, revocable license to track preparation progress, print A4 score reports, and utilize study timers.
• Prohibited: You shall not decompile, reverse-engineer, mirror, launch automated scraping bots, or perform denial-of-service attacks against our infrastructure.
4.4 Educational Tool Disclaimer:
Syllabus Tracker is an independent academic productivity suite. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), or National Medical Commission (NMC). Exam names are used strictly for reference. Students should check official exam brochures for official updates.
4.5 Limitation of Liability:
The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Syllabus Tracker Labs shall not be liable for incidental data loss caused by unauthorized browser cache clearings without prior JSON backup, device malfunctions, or examination scores.
4.6 Governing Law & Jurisdiction:
These Terms and Policies shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
